Difficulty, Scoring, and Progress
The four difficulties
Every level plays at four tiers. Higher tiers mean more traffic, faster pacing, tighter goals, and on many airports weather and emergencies join the mix.
- Novice (bronze): learn the airport.
- Trainee (silver): a proper shift.
- Licensed (gold): busy, with weather.
- Master (platinum): the full pressure of the real thing.
Positive points are multiplied at higher difficulties, so the same landing is worth more at Master than at Novice.
Wings and stars
Beating a level earns its wings: 1 for Novice up to 4 for Master. Your best difficulty per level is what counts, shown as a colored badge on the level. Total wings unlock career stages, so pushing old levels to higher tiers is how you open new airspace.
Scoring
You earn points for every aircraft handled well: landings, departures, handoffs, and completed missions, with bonuses for emergencies brought home safely. You lose points for the bad days: conflicts and collisions, missed exits, storm penetration, terrain, and crashes. Your score never goes below zero.
Each scenario's goal is a required success rate. Finish handling the level's aircraft at or above that rate and the level is complete; fall below and the shift ends unsuccessfully. Your best score per level is kept, and high scores feed the leaderboards.
Leaderboards and Game Center
Sign in to Game Center and your total score competes on the global leaderboard, with dedicated per-city boards for the live traffic levels and the daily challenge.
Awards
The trophy room holds more than twenty in-app award badges: geography sets, milestone counts, live traffic achievements, and a few hidden ones worth discovering. Progress is tracked automatically as you play.
Rating levels
After each level you can rate it 1 to 5 stars and leave feedback. This goes straight to the developer (a real person) and genuinely shapes what gets fixed and built next. Low ratings with a note about what went wrong are especially valuable.
