West London, Airshow Day, Chinook-style helicopters, and a game made for iPhone Duo.
West London
Farnborough's business jets share a small patch of Surrey and Hampshire with Chinook-style helicopters out of Odiham, light aircraft at Blackbushe and Fairoaks and gliders at Lasham, while Heathrow's airliners pass overhead. Find Farnborough on the New in 3.6 shelf.
Airshow Day
A timed shift at Farnborough. Three times a display box goes up over the field, after a countdown: Farnborough closes while the helicopters fly the display. Hold your arrivals at the fixes outside the box until it ends; every aircraft that enters it costs points. Aircraft already cleared to land, and emergencies, carry on.
Twin-rotor helicopters
Odiham's Chinook-style helicopters fly with their own callsigns, and in 3D View they are full twin-rotor models with both rotors turning.
iPhone Duo
The game fills whichever display you use and follows you as you open, close or fold it. Open, it uses the larger layout with the radial command menu. Half open, the pause screen, cards and the shift results move clear of the fold.
Help
Contact Support now signs you in, so replies to the diagnostics you send appear in Help.
Also in 3.6.5
- A departure waiting in the queue no longer runs out of time early when the sky is busy.
- An aircraft on a published approach now lands on that approach's runway, at Arnsberg-Menden and Innsbruck.
